Chelsea look to copy Barcelona's style... and start with bid for their midfielder Roberto .

Chelsea hope to reshape their midfield in the image of Barcelona by snatching Spain Under 21 starlet Sergi Roberto from the Catalans.

The European champions have been impressed with Oriol Romeu, who was signed last summer, and have closely monitored his former Barcelona B team-mate.

Andre Villas-Boas was keen to sign the 20-year-old before Christmas and, despite the Portuguese boss’s departure, Catalan newspaper Sport claims Chelsea remain fiercely interested.
