City's path to Van Persie clears as PSG pull out of the running for Arsenal rebel.


Carlo Ancelotti has ruled Paris Saint-Germain out of the race to sign Arsenal contract rebel Robin van Persie.
Club director Leonardo made tentative enquiries as to the Holland international’s availability earlier this summer but the mega-rich French club have decided not to make a move for the striker.
Manchester City are leading the chase for Van Persie and PSG - who are financially driven by Qatari Investment Authority - are one of the few clubs who have the funds to compete with the big-spenders.
